I’m pleased to let you know we’ve finished our project to replace 1 kilometre of water pipeline in Tilden Road, Headcorn.

This important work will improve the local water network, ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality drinking water as the community in the area grows.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we carried out this project. We know our work can cause disruption and we really appreciate the support we’ve received from the community and yourselves throughout.

Update on Road Conditions

After completing the installation of the pipeline, the final stage of our work is to make sure Tilden Road is returned to a safe and driveable condition before we leave.

We’ve been made aware that since we cleared the area, a third party has cleared a ditch along Tilden Road, from Tattlebury Lane to Boy Court Lane, leaving debris and mud behind on the road surface.

As we’ve left site, the responsibility for road maintenance has passed back to Kent Highways and we’ve reported this to them. We have ensured that we have made the road safe to road users before we cleared our works. Any concerns regarding this should be raised directly with Kent Highways.
